11.03.08 - Lazy day

I'm not sure about anyone else, but today, I am rather lazy... just had to get that out there.

10.29.08 - Computer problems

Updating has been slow, almost not existing. Lets just say my main computer has been "under the weather". Hello my name is Cheyne and I'm a PC "wish I were a mac" user. Hopefully this doesn't last too much longer.

10.29.08 - Pumpkin patch!

The other day we went out and picked some pumpkins at a pumpkin patch for carving! October is great, not only is halloween during this month, it's our yearly anniversary. Sam Adams Octoberfest is out now too!

We did find some great pumpkins, we came home with four!

Seeds! who doesn't love eating freshly roasted pumpkin seeds?

There were so many seeds once we had finished, we should have sorted while we were carving!. We only carved two of them, not too sure if the others will get done.

This is Kellseys pumpkin, if you can't tell it's Dwight from The Office. I haven't taken a picture of mine yet. Last but not least the seeds! These are Parmesan flavored, we also made pumpkin pie and buffalo flavored seeds.

Today marks Kellsey and my 6 years. She wonderful and I am so glad we are together!

09.27.08 - Rainy Rain Rain

So the last two days have been filled with nothing but rain. I'm not sure about all of you out there but when it rains, the only thing I want to do is lay around and watch The Office. Besides laying around I've been coming up with a bunch of new designs which I can't wait to release. Before all of that happens I'm going to release a pin pack, maybe even a limited series if pin packs.

09.16.08 - I AM FESTIVAL

Last saturday was the annual I AM FESTIVAL in New London, CT. It was an overcast day but still turned out to be an eventful one. I hung out from noon till it was over around 11, if you don't know about the fest check out the myspace here. I AM is getting bigger every year who knows what next year will be like. I certainly enjoyed everything it had to offer.

This year I was told there were over 40 tents, which was a huge increase from last year. I met a lot of new faces in and out of the Sinful Stars tent. There were a lot of graffiti writers from NYC there as well as local art galleries which cater to the underground/urban arts. Be on the lookout for some SSC gallery shows in the future.

My oh my, last thursday was my fashion show and it went extremely well. I met a lot of new people and a lot of new people met me. I want to thank darion Skye for thinking of me when he was planning the Artist Expo, as well as Elizabeth. A huge thanks to all the Kontroversy dancers who modeled for me. Teresa, Steph, Lenis, Pavi, Dariely thank you so much, and an even bigger thanks to Jeremy and Luee for putting up with changing 3 times. For everyone who was there watching, thanks for your support and thanks for telling me how much you enjoyed the show, and Sinful Stars it means a great deal to me.

If I can get a hold of pictures or video I'll have it up for you.

Funny story, When we first got there we headed over to the bar to get some drinks, I asked the bartender if they had Blue Moon. The bartender walks away and looks through some papers, then asks, what's in it. I was a bit confused and said, its a beer. She came closer and asked again, and I repeated its a beer. She looked clueless like I was making it up, she had no idea and thought I was asking for a mixed drink. I should have known not to ask for a good beer, I mean they had Zima there ...seriously who drinks Zima. Oh and the only tap beer they had was Budwiser, oh my! Speaking of beverages no one drinks anymore, does anyone remember Crystal Pepsi? or better yet, the commercials?

Better yet, Coke Blak... my thoughts excatly.

So it's been awhile since I've blogged anything. Next week on the 21st, will be my first fashion show. Getting everything set has taken some time, I'm hoping everything goes well and there aren't any surprises. If your any where near Lawrence Mass I suggest you come out for this!

Along side getting everything set for the fashion show I have been hard at work creating some new shirts, so "dinkin flicka" haha. If you had any clue what that is from I love you so much! Side note, September 26th...The Office is back, oh yes, get ready.

Just got in from the printers, working on some new designs, saw what they would like on shirts. I'm very excited about designs. Most of the new designs won't be out for quite sometime, there's a lot of work going into getting them ready. If your lucky enough to visit the fashion show I'm showing at, you'll get a sneak peak at some of them (I hope!). The fashion show is August 20th in Mass, I'll post more details in the coming days.

This past weekend was gazebofest in my hometown. Once a year there is a show at the
gazebo in the town park, it hosts local bands. I had a pretty good time this year,
I want to sincerely thank all the kids that stopped by to hang out, talk, as well as those
who picked up some new SSC shirts. End all Suffering was there this year, I want to
thank those guys for the food and ice cream. E.A.S put on a great set ...I'm still very
much sore from it still.

Two new shirts came out this weekend too!! One of these new shirts is a new limited shirt, only 25 will be printed. They are all for sale in the store, make sure you check them out and let me know what you think.

I've been so busy I haven't had time to let everyone in on what's been going on over here.
This weekend is gazebofest, I'm hoping to see a lot of new faces and familiar ones then!
The week after gazebofest a new shirt is dropping, don't want to ruin the surprise but...

...I think some of you may enjoy. It's rather different, but good.

Sometimes being too busy is just as bad as doing nothing. I'm still trying to everything
together for Gazebofest, but it never feels like I'm getting close to being ready. There's
going to be a lot of new shirts for sale there. I'm working on a new girls/guys necklace
to debut then.

I'm also trying to get ready for a fashion show I was invited to. I'm in the process of
creating a lot of new styles for this. Some you might see for sale some not. Once
everything is final with the fashion show I'll post the details.

So I've been listening to Benefit Friends non stop since I bought it. You need to check it
out, BF is a one man electronica band from Allston, MA. Give it a listen and maybe an
add on myspace.

Just wanted to give you all a quick update. I've been very busy getting new designs ready.
Gazebofest is coming up rather quickly, and I'm getting ready for a fashion show in late
augest, I'll keep you updated.

Today was a relaxing day I have to say. We went out to the business surplus store today
the main purpose was to find a nice table for making shirts on. This place is amazing by
the way! It's always changing, and theres so many great things there. A couple months
ago I picked up some manaquinn hands and made coat/hat hangers from them.

We didn't find what we went to get, but!! we found some awesome lockers.You know the
kind you had for gym class, yea those. They'll be here on thursday, they're mostly for
the apartment. I'll snap some pics when they get here. After that we went out to see
The Happening, not as good as I hoped, the acting wasn't that great and the story was
alright. I'm sure that movie will make it's way in the 2 for $10 bin at walmart rather quickly.

Still working hard on all the custom orders I've received, shoot some nice pics of them
today.

I got Seinfeld season 9 the other day!
